Philosophy

Photography is an art form born out of science - which cannot be simply achieved by just pointing a camera and pressing the button. An understanding of how to use a camera in different ways can paint a range of pictures from the same scene; and using light to capture evocative images is the basis of photography at Totally Photogenic.

When photographing a wedding, it is hard not to be moved by the expression of love between two individuals who are starting a new life together, and this will show in my photography. It is also the other tender moments; a mother’s loving embrace of her son, a father playing silly games with his children, the detail of the preparations, the behind the scenes shots, as you may say – these are what I look to capture – this is where the complete story lies.

These images are captured, immortalising the moment for a lifetime, allowing you to share them with friends and family for years to come. My images will take you back to a moment in life where all is magical, allowing you to remember how special you felt.
